This is just a very brief news update to let you know that the Leaseholders’ Forum website has had a minor makeover (now that it has been up and running for a few months in its new revitalised form). No content has been removed, but some items are now in different places. The upshot of this is that information is easier to find and easier to search for; it is also easier for us to maintain! The downside is that old links that you may have had from emails (etc) may no longer work. To find an item, the best place to start looking is the News Archive, where all the old links have been updated to the new locations.
There is a new section called Step-By-Step Guides which will be regularly updated with items which we think will be of general interest to Camden Leaseholders and the News Archive section is easier to navigate. We also now have Member biographies which are linked to from the “About the Leaseholders’ Forum” section on the front page as well as our website guiding policies and principles document if you fancy a read. Finally a mention for our Discussion Boards where you can raise and discuss issues that you think that other Camden leaseholders may be interested in.
No other news, but if you want to subscribe to our mailing list and haven’t already done so the address is: https://www.leaseholdersforum.org.uk/mailing-list. There are currently three different topics available, all selectable via the mailing list link:
- MAIN – all the important stuff! typically about one email a month
- Updates relating to the Service Charge/Management Charge LVT issue (2013) ad hoc
- Meeting Agendas and Minutes this is an email twice a month
That’s it for now!

The Leaseholders’ Forum is a volunteer group representing all the leaseholders in Camden Council properties and freeholders paying service charges to Camden Council. We scrutinise Camden Council proposals, examine working practices and lobby on behalf of leaseholders to Camden Council. We regard ourselves as an “honest friend” of Camden Council and aim to achieve better outcomes for all.
