Hello I really hope someone can help me with the legal jargon of my lease that began in 1996.
In clause 4 Landlord’s Covenants 4.2.1 The part I’m intrested in seems to imply that the landlord is responsible for external walls and window frames and timbers but not the glass in the window which is my resposibility.
I’m just trying to clarify who is resposible for repairing the putty on the external part of the sash windows, the putty has hardened and shrunk exposing the timber window frame to the elements which if not repaired will rot etc.
Have my fingers crossed someone has the answer.
