For the full details please see our September newsletter which is going out with all the Camden Council service charge statements (or just click the next link!).
If you have any evidence, that we can offer to the Leasehold Tribunal, as to why Camden should not be seeking to charge you more, perhaps examples of money wasted through bad or wasteful management and such, please contact us. We are NOT talking here about any problems with the general services Camden provides, such as caretaking, rubbish collection, building contractors, lift problems, repairs, anti social behaviour, problems with neighbours etc. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For a sneak peak at the Forum’s official September newsletter, which will be sent out to all Camden Council leasehold properties over the next month or so please visit: https://www.leaseholdersforum.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/130901-newsletter.pdf (link works in Chrome, Internet Explorer and Safari, but Firefox can be inconsistent).
Request from Camden Council’s Housing Management Efficiency Scrutiny Panel (deadline: 10th September)
The panel are seeking your views on how housing management services are being delivered by the Council – whether good or bad/inefficient. Areas covered include:
• Leasehold services
• Leasehold alterations
• TRAs/Leasehold groups
For more examples of areas covered please see: http://tinyurl.com/CamdenHM
To submit your observations (e.g. on what is going wrong and how it can be improved) or if you do have any queries please contact Dan Rodwell at Camden Council (email@example.com; 020 7974 5678). There is a further deadline of 18th September if you cannot make the 10th September deadline, but this will not give time for your submissions to be circulated to the full committee in advance.
That’s it for now!
