Major Works and Leaseholder Services Charges – Councillors’ Scrutiny Committee
Camden Council’s Housing Scrutiny Committee are currently considering a report on major works, days to day repairs and service charges (amongst other matters). The report is available here.
If you want to submit any comments about the report then please provide these in writing to gianni.franchi@camden.gov.uk by 5th January as the committee would like to hear your views. There is also a meeting at 6.30pm on 14th January – if you would instead like to request to speak at the meeting, please contact the above email address by 13th January.
Interested in Solar Panel and PV Cells for your estate?
Camden Council-led “Camden Climate Change Alliance” is hosting an event that will bring together community groups (such as Leaseholder Associations and TRAs), businesses and others to explore and develop low carbon energy projects in Camden. The event will combine case studies, knowledgeable speakers, tools and support!
Although this meeting is an early part of the development process, it will showcase how community groups can get involved and explore financial benefits and carbon savings.
The event is on Wednesday, 28th January from 4pm to 8.30pm at Arup’s head office (nearest station: Warren Street). Sign up via Eventbrite. If you have any questions please email camdencca@camden.gov.uk or call 020 7974 3901.

That’s it for now!
