Hello and welcome to the latest LVT news update from Camden Leaseholders’ Forum.
We have, today, received additional witness statements and methodology from Camden Council in regards to the current management charge LVT issue. We will be analysing this documentation over the next months. More documentation should be released by Camden Council this August, according to the timetable set by the LVT. The additional statements are a witness statement from Geraldine Littlechild and an example of a request for a non-urgent repair.
If you are interested in reading the statements and methodology we have now made this available on our Dropbox file-hosting site. The link is https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8dicdoe4qr7zndd/t9v3aEMWnc. The first document you may wish to look at is called “Covering Email.pdf”. You will need Adobe Acrobat Viewer to read it, but most computers have this installed as standard.
We have also pointed out to Camden Council councillors and the LVT Tribunal that Camden Council managed to miss the LVT’s deadline for this information by 4 days, with no advanced warning, explanation or apology.
That’s it for now!

The Leaseholders’ Forum is a volunteer group representing all the leaseholders in Camden Council properties and freeholders paying service charges to Camden Council. We scrutinise Camden Council proposals, examine working practices and lobby on behalf of leaseholders to Camden Council. We regard ourselves as an “honest friend” of Camden Council and aim to achieve better outcomes for all.
