LVT Update
Further to the update within the newsletter, we thought it may be helpful to add the following observation:

The Leaseholders’ Forum discussed whether affected leaseholders wanted it to support appealing against the decision. Although unhappy with it, the Forum was aware that the costs of an appeal, likely to be even greater than those of the original case, would fall back on leaseholders. The actual service charge (including management charge) can always be challenged if it is thought unreasonable, offering wider possibilities than simply appealing against estimated costs. This seemed a better option than appealing now, and there was no support for an appeal from those affected leaseholders who were present.

Next Meeting
The meeting will be at 6.45pm on Tuesday, 16th September at Camden Town Hall, Judd Street, Kings Cross, WC1H 9JE; observers are always welcome. The next open meeting and AGM will be in 2015.

The agenda will be available on our website nearer the time.

That’s it for now!
