      Hi
I’m looking for advice on whether I have a legal case against the Council for their handling of an ongoing issue we have with our council tenant neighbour behaving in an antisocial manner for the past 2-3 years.

Given it’s their tenant who h continues to cause the issues, and as a leaseholder, I have the right to the quiet enjoyment of my home, I’d like to understand my legal options of taking this forward.

      Many thanks

Are you still having this issue? Your options moving forward depend entirely on your situation, so it’s difficult to give any advice without knowing specifics. However, I am a Camden Leaseholder, in the past I had an issue with a Council tenant neighbour placed by the Council. It ended up going to court, judgment was given in my favour, and the tenant then left the premises. So I have a little experience that may be pertinent, although I am not a legal professional
