In the recent deluge water came in large amounts through the ceiling. It even went through the floor to our rooms below. Camden have not looked after the valley in the roof properly. It needed replacing but all we got, as recently as the summer just gone, a patch up job that has failed again.
Now they say noone can come until June 7th! But this is an emergency! Question: do we have the right as leaseholders to get and pay for our own roofer? Or would we be in breach of out lease? We’ve told them we’d like to do this as we have low confidence that they will do a proper job. And we need it ASAP. But we have had no clear answer. Does anyone know? We reckon it is Camden that is failing in its legal obligations to us.
I’m chasing Camden for the same reason. They care at all. They laugh at me. I have sent several emails. Still working don’t have an answer. First claim raised in June. The Leto sending people but the job has not Ben done.
