The Bourne Estate Leaseholders will be facing the legal team of Camden Council in June 2022 at the First-tier Tribunal in a two day trial/hearing to dispute the major works charges.
We have had lots of enquiries from other leaseholders and estates asking about how we handled the council and got to this point but we don’t have the resources to reply to every enquiry in detail or at all. We are asking the Tribunal if non-applicants can observe proceedings. If they can, this will be an opportunity to hear the arguments and ask leaseholders questions about what we have done.
At present, the hearing is by video call but we are hoping restrictions will be relaxed to allow members of the public to attend an in person hearing. Please make contact if you would like to observe the hearing at:

6th May 2022 at 12:58 #6228Thanks to all those who contacted us by email or on this website. The hearing will take place in w/c 20 June over two days. The hearing is still set to be heard by video call. We have asked whether it can be in person and if you can attend. The case officer is away but we should know later this month. The exact dates and times will only be provided if we are given permission to invite non-Applicants.
9th May 2022 at 16:45 #6234please do let us know if we can observe as we will be travelling that road in the near future. I suspect that it will be a no as if they have to come to a financial agreement with you they usually make you sign a non disclosure agreement

15th July 2022 at 14:57 #6300Hi Does anyone know the outcome of the June tribunal hearing? Is there a written judgement ?
23rd August 2022 at 12:46 #6317The decision is taking longer than expected, which is why anyone who asked to be on the email list has not received further updates. We will email as soon as we have a decision! Good advice and templates are available from: lease-advice.org
