Hello everyone, I am a leaseholder planning to do some work in my flat. One part of my work only requires written consent from the freeholder (Camden Council) and another part involving layout change requires a license of alterations.

The application has been filed 3 months ago to the Neighbourhood Housing Manager via the Leasehold Admin Officer. However, the neighbour housing manager did not response to any of my email enquiries (4 times). Now 12 weeks have passed and I have not received any acknowledgement or status update.

I am sure the email address is correct, may be the council is still in a chaos during lockdown. However I struggle to find the right person to check the status of my application. Is that any advice on what I should do?

      Many thanks in advance.

Hi Thomas, have you had any luck or further advancement of your project? I’m about to embark on the same journey! Thanks Josh

Hi Josh, I saw your thread too. Yes, I finally got the consent. See my reply here:
